Great base camp in a quiet apartment centre next to a cool mall Positive: Apartment is a great base camp - spacious, comfy, good TV, quiet (but for traffic if you go out on the balcony but it's only the sound of trams, not unpleasant), so in all a great place to come back to in the evening. And it's easy to walk from - we like to walk about a lot and it was pleasant routes into Helsinki centre (about 45 mins) and boat tours (about an hour), and when we wanted to shorten the walk, we took the train from the mall. No aircon but we didn't need it and draft from balcony was pleasant - photo taken from there. And the mall itself is great. Would recommend.
